About Sophie

Sophie Spatig is a personal injury paralegal at Commonwealth Law Group. Before joining CLG in 2018, Sophie worked for a technology retailer in the Richmond area. Sophie’s years of customer service experience are evident in her thoughtfulness and personal attention to our clients. “Helping people motivates me,” explains Sophie. “My favorite part of my job is that I get to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients.”

Sophie got her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from VCU in 2017, and has been interested in the legal field since she was a kid. Her mom was a paralegal when Sophie was younger, and she grew up watching crime TV and dreaming of being an FBI agent. “Working as a paralegal is fun because I learn something new every day,” says Sophie. “Each case is different, and I find it very rewarding to be able to give each of my clients the unique and personal attention that their individual circumstances require.”

Outside of work, you might find Sophie in the park with her dogs, Penny and Pepper. Sophie is a Richmond native, but she loves to travel to new places – especially when she can bring the pups along to hike!
